I never wanted to be a blogger...

I am a firm believer that 99% of people with blogs shouldn't have them. I don't understand why people go through this painful process of trying to figure out how to use blogspot (it seriously took me 3 total hours to get this far) just so they can tell their friends that they went to school and ate dinner today. I don't believe that I am part of the 1% that should have a blog, but, well, I have one, so deal with it.

The idea to make this thing came about when I was thinking about my plans for next year. I was thinking this would be a good way to tell people what I am up to when I am far away. If you have no idea what I am talking about right now, just tune back in next year. I got some good stuff planned.

So, uhh, yeah, I wasn't planning on making a blog until my I actually do what I am planning (I am trying to be ambiguous), but I got giddy so I decided to make one up right now. Posts will be very infrequent for a while, but I will try to post up when I am doing something cool (like going to the SOA in Georgia this weekend!). I won't ever tell you that I went to school or ate food or went snowboarding. Those things are to be expected. I will, however, tell you about the preparations and fun stuff I am doing to get ready for one of the biggest years of my life.

So yeah, I guess I am a blogger now...
